Sidmouth Classic Car Show update

Please see our FAQ menu item if you have any questions.

Please note that with over 300 cars already booked we have unfortunately had to close car entry for the Sidmouth Classic Car Show 2016. It promises to be a fantastic show with that number of Classic Cars on display in Sidmouth though so please do still come as a spectator.

In 2012 Sidmouth celebrated Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee in style!

Sidmouth Classic Car Show

The Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce led the town in a series of events over the Jubilee weekend, culminating in a unique Classic Car Show held at our beautiful Cricket Ground overlooking the sea. Over 130 cars of all types and ages attended, as well as an estimated 3000 people, all enjoying a fun but relaxing day in a stunning setting. It was reported that the informality and back to basics approach were some of the more enjoyable aspects.

In 2013 the 2nd Sidmouth Classic Car show was an even greater success! The event sold out in advance.

Guests and exhibitors alike took full advantage of the many activities, run by the Scouts, Guides and Chamber of Commerce. There was a full complement of catering on hand enjoyed by many, including Cream Teas, bar facilities and the particularly popular PIMM's Tent!

Crash Box Club We would like to thank all the Classic Car Owners for attending this fantastic event and in particular The Crash Box Club Of Devon who supported the event wholeheartedly. Money raised will go to local good causes as well as club funds which comprised Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce and Sidmouth Cricket Club.

Due to the success of this event, and by popular request, we are planning to hold another Classic Car Show in 2016. For those keen to attend, the date is Saturday 17th September 2016. This year, we are looking to increase the number of car clubs attending so if you belong to a car club, why not come as a group?
